The books says of The Golden Fairy: “She held all the world’s vast knowledge in her grasp and would use it to guide those who were troubled onto the correct path. However, it was said that in return, she would ask for the souls of those she helped, and devour those souls.”
(Kujou looks at a blushing, annoyed looking Victorique.)
Kujou: (thinking) I wonder if that’s true.
(Kujou imagines Victorique as the golden fairy, sitting alone in a dark place with brick walls and floors. She’s sitting in a beam of light, with long, large, iridescent dragon-fly-esque wings.
She’s looking up, into the light.)
No. I’m sure that she just didn’t want to be alone.
(Kujou steps in and she turns to see his legs, as he walks up to her side.)
She believed.
(They’re now shown from behind, Kujou standing beside the seated Victorique.)
She believed that there is a soul somewhere which will never leave her. A soul that belongs only to her…
(She turns to look at him and her wing spread out, one reaching across his back.)
She believed she would one day meet that soul.
(He sits down beside her.)
One day, I’m sure…
MY HEART. ;^;
